Funding Sources

WellSky Community Services contains numerous funding sources that you may choose when recording services. In order to keep things clean, organized, and easily reportable; we've provided the charts below. Please make sure to utilize the correct year on each funding source according to your grant agreements or funder requirements. Missouri Housing Development Commission

The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) mandates the recording of specific financial assistance services within the HMIS, and the proper fund name must be selected for each service so that billing reports can be properly generated. The table below is provided to ensure users select the correct fund name.

St. Louis City Department of Human Services

The St. Louis City Department of Human Services does not mandate the recording of specific financial assistance services within the HMIS for all providers, but may require it for specific grants. Even if not required, agencies are permitted and encouraged to record financial assistance within the HMIS. In order to keep everything in the HMIS clean and organized, the following fund sources should be utilized. The table below is provided to ensure users select the correct fund name.

Federal Partner Funding Sources

Providers who receive funds for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY), Projects for Assistance in Transitioning from Homelessness (PATH) are not required to record funding sources. 

Other/Local Funding Sources

For agencies recording services paid for through local, private or other funds, agencies may use the fund named Local Funds, or may request a separate funding source be set up for their project.
