Folder Structure
In general, reports are stored following these guidelines. If you are unable to find a report, please contact the helpdesk for support.
Agency-Specific Reports
Any reports which were built for use by a specific agency are stored within this folder. If you would like a custom report built for your agency, you can learn more about that process here: Custom Data/Report Request.
ART Gallery Reports and Resources
These are reports which were created by WellSky for use across all Community Services sites.
CoC-Specific Folders
Each CoC has their own specific folder. Reports in the specific CoC folder generally will only work properly for projects within the applicable CoC.
Data Quality and Completeness Reports
All reports which are designed to provide information about data quality or completeness which are not CoC- or agency-specific are available in this folder. Any data quality or completeness reports which are CoC or agency-specific are stored in the CoC or agency-specific folder.
Funding-Specific Reports
Outcome Reports
These reports are designed to allow projects to see their project outcomes. Generally, these reports are able to be run for most projects in the system.
Program Rosters
WellSky Use Only & Z - Admin
These reports are for use only by WellSky or ICA and should not be used by users at other agencies.
Demonstration Video
This video goes over the basic navigation of BusinessObjects, as well as how to launch reports. Length: approx. 8 minutes. Closed captioned. Password available from the helpdesk or within ServicePoint System News.
Launch BusinessObjects
- 1
-
In the upper right-hand corner of the WellSky Community Services site, click on Connect to BusinessObjects. BusinessObjects will open in a new tab in your browser.

Note: If you do not see a "Connect to BusinessObjects" button, you do not have a BusinessObjects license. If you need one, an authorized representative of your agency will need to request you be assigned one by sending an email to the ICA Missouri Helpdesk.
- 2
-
After opening the BusinessObjects home page, click on the Folders button to open the Folder Structure.
- 3
-
In the left-hand column, click on Public Folders.
- 4
- In the main portion of the window, click on missouri_live_folder.
- 5
-
Within the missouri_live_folder, click on the folder containing the report you wish to run. Continue clicking on the appropriate folder(s) in the same manner until the report you wish to run is listed on the screen.
- 6
-
On the row for the report you wish to run, click on the ••• button on the right-hand side to open the options menu for the individual report. Then select the appropriate option from the dropdown. Descriptions of the three options are available below the screenshot.
View
Viewing reports in BusinessObjects is a good option when you're wanting to quickly see what a report looks like, when you need to use input controls, or if you don't want to save a copy in the report run history for 60 days.

Schedule
Except in limited circumstances, ICA generally recommends using the Schedule functionality when running reports in BusinessObjects. This allows the report to run in the background, rather than require you to watch it load, and also ensures a copy of the report is saved in the History for the individual report for 60 days, and a copy will be sent to your BI Inbox for 365 days (assuming the BI Inbox is selected as a delivery destination).

History
Using the History function of BusinessObjects allows you to see the previously scheduled copies of the individual report. This can be helpful when trying to find a copy of a report you ran within the last 60 days.

What about the other options in the dropdown?
The other options available in the dropdown menu either are not used within the Missouri HMIS or should only be utilized by the ICA Reporting Team.
