St. Louis CITY ARPA Funding: Mortgage Assistance, Bridge, Rapid Rehousing and PSH Supportive Services
This tip sheet was created to assist ARPA funded projects on how to collect and record client information for the unique data collection needs of ARPA Projects. Wrap Around Services are covered in a separate tip sheet.

ARPA APPLICATIONS
At application (Mortgage, Rapid Rehousing and Bridge Housing funded by ARPA): Collect an application for head of household and record the application under the head of household's HMIS Client Profile. No other family member's data will need to be recorded. If the client is not in HMIS, add the client's basic demographics on the Client Profile tab.
The ARPA Application can be accessed by setting the ARPA Project's "EDA" or "Enter Data As" and navigating to the client Profile tab. You will find the ARPA assessment there. You will record the data available at application for only the head of household. Once your agency has determined if you can assist the applicant, you will need to return and complete the application outcome by editing the application in HMIS. The application details and outcome will be reported in the ARPA Report. There should be at least as many applications as households served.
This activity will be reported monthly to the funder using the ARPA Billing Report
At Project Entry (after approval): Record a HMIS Entry on the Entry/Exit tab. All family members will be entered into HMIS.
Financial Service Transactions: All financial transactions must be recorded under the "Service Transactions" tab. To report properly on the ARPA Report, a funding source must be selected along with the dollar amount when recording the transaction.
