Client Served Report

The Client Served Report is a built-in, canned report available within ServicePoint that looks at services recorded by each project. Please note that this report does NOT look at entry/exits.

After logging into ServicePoint, you will go to the menu on the left of the home screen. Click the triangle next to Reports, then select the “Client Served Report”.

In the next window, you will select the criteria needed to build your report in the “Report Options” box.

  • Reporting Group: (optional) If you're running the report for a reporting group, you can select it here. If not, just skip down to Provider and select the provider for which you're running the report.
  • Provider: Select the provider for which you're running the report.
  • Services: Typically, this will be left as default, but projects using ShelterPoint may want to check "Shelter Stays"
  • Grouping: Do not change this
  • Funding Source: (optional) Select the correct fund that is associated with the project that this report is for if applicable. Click Submit.
  • Service Code: (optional) Typically, this will be left blank, but you can select specific services if you'd like the report to show only those clients who received a specific type of service
  • Served Date Range: Enter the reporting period for which you want to review services entered
  • Served Before Date Range (Old Client Count): Do not enter anything here
  • Treat Open-Ended Services/Referrals as 1-day Services: Leave as “Yes”

Click “Build Report”

The “Report Details” will display below the “Report Options” box. You are now ready to review your data.  Each number that is blue allows you to hyperlink to a list of client names included in that number, so you can ensure the correct clients are being captured in this report. You can save the report by clicking on “Print”.  When the print preview window opens, you will need to change the Destination to “Save as PDF” and click “Save”.  Be sure to save this document in a place you can find it at a later date.
